We are a multidisciplinary practice of independent practitioners who specialize in the holistic health of children, youth, adults and their families. Our collaborative approach to therapy, assessment and intervention embraces the complexity of the individual and their support systems. Our name comes from our unique space - we practice out of a converted historic brick home in Old Strathcona.

Literacy Intervention

 

Our reading specialist offers

1-on-1 specialized Orton-Gillingham (OG) lessons in-person and online. The OG Approach involves the student in integrative practices that involve reading, spelling and writing. 

Session are personalized and diagnostic, where instructional elements focus on the resolution of each students individual challenges and builds upon their success.

This multi-sensory approach is considered the gold standard in reading instruction for dyslexic and struggling readers alike. 

Child, Adolescent, Adult and Family Counselling 

Our therapist team is highly trained and experienced in issues impacting children and youth. We offer play therapy, art therapy, talk therapy, and E.M.D.R, in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hindi, Punjabi and Spanish.

 

Our creative team is family focused and passionate about creating responsive relationships where your therapist can best assess and address the needs of the child or youth. 

We currently work with children and youth ages 5 - 17.

Consultation and Presentations

Our team has specialized experience in teaching, learning, and program development. We provide a variety of professional development opportunities to staff in schools and community agencies. Past presentations include:
