  • Andrea Collins - Counsellor

    Andrea Collins, B.Ed. M.C.

    Andrea is a Certified Canadian Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, with a Masters in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.

    Andrea has a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education from the University of Alberta, as well as a Bachelor of Arts from Memorial University.

    Andrea's warm personality creates a welcoming and familiar environment for her students and clients alike. She uses Play Therapy to support her clients in communicating their voices, as well as other therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Solutions Focused Therapy.

    Andrea has also begun Theraplay training to assist in building the nurturing relationships between children and their caregivers.

  • Sarah Lee, B.A., B.Ed. M.A.

    Sarah Lee, B.A., B.Ed. M.A.

    Sarah is a Certified Canadian Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. She holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Sarah has also obtained both a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Secondary Education degree from the University of Alberta.

    Sarah is passionate about helping children and adolescents. She believes in working with both the client and their caregivers to develop healthy strategies for improved physical, psychological, and social well-being. She uses multiple therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioural therapy, solution focused therapy, and play therapy to support clients.

    She is also passionate about helping teens to discover their future career pathways by working collaboratively with the client to explore their interests, develop skills, understand their personality, and identify values to support informed career decision making. Sarah also provides support in the areas of exploring post secondaries, job searching, resumes, and preparing for interviews.

  • Katherine Hendry, B.Ed. (Intern)

    Katherine Hendry, B.Ed. (Intern)

    Katherine is a Master of Counselling student who is passionate about helping children, adolescents, and young adults navigate challenges, life transitions, relationships, and mental health concerns. Katherine has a Bachelor of Secondary Education Degree, and through her teaching experience, she has worked with various populations. She has a special interest in assisting clients with developmental delays and autism spectrum disorder.

    Katherine utilizes a variety of approaches to meet her clients where they are at and incorporates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Therapy into her practice. Katherine has also begun her training in play therapy and believes in the power of play to assist her younger clients in expressing their emotions.

    Her warmth, kindness, and empathetic approach allow her to foster an inclusive counselling environment where clients feel comfortable and safe within the therapeutic space.
